A small, family-run business situated in the heart of the Tirolean Alps, ROLF Spectacles produces hand-made, lightweight wood, stone and wood combinations and horn eyeglass frames. Since its inception in 2007, ROLF Spectacles has continued to form (and then stretch) the limits of design and natural eyewear creation. ROLF’s research and development team has created two award-winning hinge designs for its eyewear as well as a specialized ROLF lens-glazing system that is superior to that of any other natural eyewear designers’ in the world.
ROLF eyewear is totally without any metal parts or screws. Each ROLF frame is painstakingly hand-crafted with wood harvested from local forests in Tirol, Austria. The wood also forms the base for ROLF’s incredible stone and horn frame creations.
